Cartoon Network, CNN, TBS, and TNT join Time Warner Cable to present the Shades of Our Community tour to Charlotte at Panthers Lair event, at the Bank of America Stadium, 800 South Mint Street, on Sunday, September 19 from 10:30 AM 1:00 PM (Prior to Charlotte Panthers vs Tampa Bay Football game). This community outreach combines Turners brands and programming with music, activities for adults and children, and plenty of giveaways. In addition, Time Warner Cable is donating $ 1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club to further assist in the needs of the community.

Central to all the fun is a dance floor, DJ and emcee to host the festivities as attendees enjoy continuous music, dancing, contests and prizes. Themed activities will feature high-profile Turner properties, including ALMIGHTY DEBT: A BLACK IN AMERICA SPECIAL (from CNN), Tyler Perrys MEET THE BROWNS and Tyler Perrys HOUSE OF PAYNE (from TBS), HAWTHORNE (from TNT), and Scooby-Doo and TOTAL DRAMA WORLD TOUR (from Cartoon Network).
Cartoon Networks Total Drama World Tour tent will offer a recording studio for people of all ages to show off their victory dance in an animated flipbook. The recordings will be captured and printed on site into a flipbook souvenir. TOTAL DRAMA WORLD TOUR is an animated comedy for kids 6-14 that takes audiences to all the best and most familiar moments of reality TV shows. From the creators of Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action, TOTAL DRAMA WORLD TOUR airs on Cartoon Network on Mondays at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). Also, attendees may meet Scooby-Doo, the lovable star of Cartoon Networks all-new animated series, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated.
CNNs Almighty Debt: A Black in America Special tent will feature a family portrait studio offering complimentary photos taken at the event by a professional photographer. Photos will be printed on site and made available online to download and share with family and friends. ALMIGHTY DEBT: A BLACK IN AMERICA SPECIAL is an event documentary and town hall discussion, and explores how the challenges presented by financial debt and the national economic crisis are being addressed within Black faith communities. The Black church is an institution central to African-American communities for generations. In the midst of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, African-American communities have been among the worst affected. Anchor and special correspondent Soledad OBrien introduces viewers to Rev. Dr. DeForest Buster Soaries, senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (Somerset, N.J.), who believes debt is the new slavery and follows him as he tries to fight debt from his pulpit.
